FCC Environment is one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management companies, employing over 4,200 people nationwide. We operate a wide range of facilities including household waste recycling centres, material recycling facilities (MRFs), energy from waste (EfW) plants, and landfill sites.
Our mission is to recover value from waste and reduce reliance on virgin materials. Every day, we collect and process waste from homes and businesses, turning it into reusable materials or clean energy. This supports the UK’s environmental goals and contributes to a more resource-efficient economy.
FCC Environment is also a long-term steward of land across the UK. We take our responsibility seriously, especially when managing previously developed and operational sites. The proposal is a continuation of this commitment — utilising an existing waste management site, while supporting local jobs, infrastructure, and environmental resilience.
